Indirect Characterization:
1."His days were spent at his linotype, where he refreshed himself occasionallly from an ever-present gallon jug of cherry wine. He rarely gathered news; people brought it to him."

- This example supports the theme because this shows what the character does and he help people.
- This example supports the theme so this shows us what kind of characterization the character have.
2." He yanked Jem nearly off his feet. "Don't you touch him!" I kicked the man swiftly."
- This example supports the theme but, this shows that Jem isn't really strong and brave.
- This example supports the theme because this shows Scout will stand up and protect Jem.
- This example supports the theme so it shows what type of person Scout is.
