Lord Of The Flies Ch.6

                                 Lord of the Flies Ch.6

Quote: "The statistics say that something like 65% of us will give the wrong answer just because we heard someone else say it, even if we know it's the wrong answer. The power of suggestion is very strong." -Real-Hypnonis.com

This quote relates to the "Lord of the Flies" because some characters like Jack and Ralph. For example when Ralph was on the mountain Jack follow along with Ralph and started to fight with a leviathan. When Ralph a leader he try making things go right but, then Jacks comes along and try to find something to hunt instead of helping others.I think Jack is doing the wrong thing because he isn't helping anybody and just trying to enjoy hunting things. I think Ralph is doing the right thing because he worries and cares for others.

The Lord of the Flies Ch.5

Lord of the Flies Ch. 5

Quote: "He found himself understanding the wearisomeness of his life, where every path was an improvisation and a considerable part of one's walking life was spent watching one's feet." - Ralph's thought, William Golding

This is related to "The Lord of the Flies" because this is saying that he know what kind of life he has and every step he takes its like seeing how you are now. This relates to Ralph because he's been thinking about his life before the plane crash happens and how he is now. This also relates to everyone else because they were different people before they started hunting and doing their jobs. Now that they've changed from the person they used to be they are reflecting on what type of person they are now.

The Lord Of The Flies Ch. 4

Quotes: "They became accustomed to these mysteries and ignored them, just as they ignored the miraculous, throbbing stars." - William Golding

This quote is related to "The Lord of the Flies" because the boys already got used to the island, but they don't know what's really out there and decided not to believe or ignore it. For example "A snake-thing. Ever so big. He saw it." Then their replied was "You couldn't have a beastie, a snake-thing, on an island this size." This shows that there was something mysterious happening out in the island, but they decided to chose not to believe it. This concludes how this quotes is related to this quote.

Lord Of The Flies Chapter 3

Lords Of The Flies Chapter 3

The quote "What does 'good' mean in the phrase, 'This is a good island"

In my opinion I think this quote means that it's an habitable island but dangerous. In the island there have been weird and strange things happening. They call it a good island because it habitable but, not completely safe.
