Lord of the Flies Ch. 5
Quote: "He found himself understanding the wearisomeness of his life, where every path was an improvisation and a considerable part of one's walking life was spent watching one's feet." - Ralph's thought, William GoldingThis is related to "The Lord of the Flies" because this is saying that he know what kind of life he has and every step he takes its like seeing how you are now. This relates to Ralph because he's been thinking about his life before the plane crash happens and how he is now. This also relates to everyone else because they were different people before they started hunting and doing their jobs. Now that they've changed from the person they used to be they are reflecting on what type of person they are now.
